Fred Couples will play this week in the Merrill Lynch Shootout at the Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. Fred’s partner will be Stewart Cink. Last year, Couples was paired with John Daly and they finished 9th out of twelve teams. Friday’s round will be alternate shot. Saturday’s round will be better ball and Sunday’s round will be a scramble.

He always has a shot in these things. Just needs to get really hot for about 27 holes, and better than average for the other 27 to be close!
I'll be travelling to see WK (yes, there IS still a WK, and yes I will give him CRAP for not posting recently) get his parchment on Dec 15th !!!

Will he or won't he be donning a cadillac crest? inquiring minds want to know. Besides Stewart Cink had a pretty good 2008, I like Fred's chances.
I will join you Joe, especially Friday! Saturday, I am basically double booked with kids sports, what with basketball games, swim meets, scouts and such! Ugh!
