Fred Couples made it through 7 holes before the first round was suspended due to weather. Fred was -1 and in tenth place when play was halted. The first round will resume on Friday at 9 AM.

Fred Couples will play for the second consecutive week in the Shell Houston Open in Houston, Texas. Fred missed the cut in last weeks Arnold Palmer Invitational. Fred finished in fourth place last year in the Shell Houston Open and was the site of his last win in 2003.
